Image Clip® Koncert T's is a self-weeding heat transfer paper designed for the transfer of a white image to pastel, dark and bright coloured fabrics. Koncert T's overcomes the problem of not being able to print white - Simply print your image in the same colour as your substrate and the paper will cleverly transfer a white version of the image. There is no need to trim the paper as it is a self-weeding transfer paper and leaves no background plastic polymer.

Will this paper work on my laser printer?

Over 95% of laser printers are compatible with this paper but there are just too many models on the market for us to test

We recommend testing the paper before attempting to print several sheets at once
What print settings should I use?
-
The idea is to find a slow setting which gives the printer the most time to fuse the toner onto the paper - this is usually a 'heavy paper' setting or a 'transparency' or 'label' mode
Any other tips?

Run a few blank sheets of paper through the printer first to bring it up to operating temperature

Experiment with paper settings until you find a setting which prints a good quality image

Leave the printed image to dry for 10-20 minutes before transferring

Avoid using the best image quality settings as the printer may find it difficult to fuse the excess toner onto the paper
Simple instructions:
- Mirror your image or artwork
- Print image onto the imaging sheet (blue) using a laser printer
- Place the transfer sheet (yellow) on top of the imaging sheet (blue) and press with a heat press
- Carefully separate the papers whilst hot using a smooth and even motion
- Position the imaging sheet (blue) on your substrate with the image facing downwards
- Apply the printed image to your substrate using a heat press
- Peel away the backing paper when cold
- Leave the finished item for 24 hours before washing

- If you are having trouble transferring the two imaging sheets together and getting a "spotty" white coverage, instead of a full even one then check your image. This paper is recommended for images with intense colours - for pastels, tints or photographs use Techni-Print® 4.0
- Do not use heavy pressure for the 1st press as it may cause an edge of whitefrom the coatings that give it the opaque properties
- Match your colour that you print in to a darker version of the colour of the garment you are transferring to i.e. on a Red T-shirt use Red toner. If not, adjust your temperature or pressure
- Reduce the temperature by 5-10 degrees if the fabric is a 50/50 blend as it will absorb heat more quickly
If this paper is jamming in your printer, try these tips.
- Run the transfer paper on a heavy paper mode such as "transparency" or "label" mode. This will slow down the paper in the machine allowing more time for the toner to adhere completely
- If possible, always use a by-pass tray
- Feed the transfer paper into the printer in portrait orientation - this is where the shorter side will feed into the printer first
If none of these tips work, your printer may be too hot to run heat transfer paper
