Jet-Opaque® II heat transfer paper is designed for transferring inkjet photo or images onto dark or other coloured garments and substrates.

Need to know:

• Heat press application is recommended for best results
• Not recommended for use with HP Desk jet 1200C and 1600C printers
• Pigment inks are recommended for greatest washability
• This paper tranfers an opaque white layer (polymer background) to hide the colour of the fabric - trimming away unprinted areas or contour cutting the image before transferring is recommended as otherwise, you will have a white background
• Transfers white - unprinted areas will appear as white

you will need...

• An inkjet printer
• A hand iron or heat press
• Silicone parchment paper or a Teflon sheet (recommended)

Simple instructions:

1. Do not mirror your image or artwork
2. Print image onto the transfer paper using an inkjet printer
3. Contour cut or trim away unprinted areas of the transfer
4. Slowly peel away the backing paper
5. Position the heat transfer on your substrate with the image facing upwards
6. Cover the image with silicone parchment paper or a Teflon sheet
7. Apply the printed image to your substrate using a hand iron or heat press
8. Peel away the silicone or Teflon sheet when cold
9. Leave the finished item for 24 hours before washing

yolö tips...

• Though it can be hand ironed onto fabric, the lesser amount of pressure and heat will result in the t-shirt transfer not being as durable when laundered
• Purchase yolö disposable silicone sheets or a reusable yolö Teflon sheet to protect your heat press during transfer 
• Peel cold for best results
