Jet-Pro® for Active Wear heat transfer paper is designed for stretchy synthetic fibres and has the least 'hand' on synthetics. It is ideal for performance fabrics including dance, team and athletic wear.

Heat press application is recommended for best results

Pigment inks are recommended for greatest washability

This paper transfers a very thin transparent layer (polymer background) which is designed to hold the ink - trimming away unprinted areas or contour cutting the image before transferring is recommended as you may be able to see the clear film on the unprinted areas of the fabric

Unprinted areas will appear as the colour of the fabric

To a certain extent, the fabric colour will show through the transfer so you cannot transfer a colour lighter than the fabric itself

A hand iron or heat press
Simple instructions:
- Mirror your image or artwork
- Print image onto the transfer paper using an inkjet printer
- Contour cut or trim away unprinted areas of the transfer
- Position the heat transfer on your substrate with the image facing downwards
- Apply the printed image to your substrate using a hand iron or heat press
- Peel away the backing paper whilst hot
- Leave the finished item for 24 hours before washing

- Peel hot for a softer, stretchy feel with less 'hand'
- Stretching after peeling increases durability of your transfers and softens the initial hand of the transfer
- You may also peel after the transfer has cooled but peeling cold increases the likelihood of cracking in your transfers

I've used this product a few times for team shirts and am pleased with the results. I noticed that they washed better when the image was heat pressed so I'd recommend this over ironing.
